![]() How to Enable Duplex Printing in ProTEXT and ProDEX
To Enable Duplex (both sides at once) Printing, you must do TWO THINGS:
STEP 1 - Enable Duplex Printing in ProTEXT or ProDEX
![]() STEP 2 - Enable Duplex Printing in your Duplex Printer Driver
![]() If Duplexing still doesn't work - do a sanity check on your Printer and Driver
Maybe the Printer Driver you have selected can't Duplex, even though your Printer can.
Remember: Not all Printer Drivers can Duplex! Fix: If you know for sure that your physical printer can Duplex, but your Printer Driver doesn't have a "Flip on Long Edge" or "Long Edge Binding" choice, Then use the Windows "Add Printer Wizard" and add the Universal Laser Printer Duplex Printer Driver --- It goes by the name: "HP LaserJet IIID --- If Duplexing still doesn't work - our programs can simulate a Duplex Printer
Maybe your physical printer just doesn't have the ability to Duplex!
Remember: Not all Printers can duplex, they are rare, and much more expensive. Remember: ProTEXT and ProDEX can print on both sides without a Duplexing Printer! When you print from our programs, there are two choices when printing: 1 - Print all FRONT sides, then stop. 2 - Print all BACK sides, then stop. This way, you can simulate duplex printing, it's no problem at all! |
