How to fix the No Print Device is Installed problem
NOTE You might see this message the very first time ProTEXT or ProDEX starts.
If this happens on a Brand New Computer and no printers are installed yet,
you have to install at least one printer driver, then restart ProTEXT or ProDEX.

From ProTEXT or ProDEX, select "File", then "Printer Setup"
Choose the printer you want to use from the list of installed printers
Press "OK"
In ProTEXT - Condensed words spill outside of the boxes
The Condensed looks perfect in ProTEXT, but when I print, all of the words are way too big.
Cause: You are using a very old HP LaserJet 4 Printer Driver
Fix: Use Windows Add Printer Wizard to use the HP LaserJetIII driver
NOTE: This problem only happened when the HP LaserJet 4 first came out.
Hewlett Packard later fixed the problem, but I had hundreds of users with the bad HP4 printer driver.
However - it's REALLY EASY TO FIX by substituting the HP LaserJet III driver, which always worked better.
Known Bad Printer drivers:
Early versions of the HP DeskJet 550 driver
Early versions of the HP DeskJet 860 driver
The HP DeskJet 760 driver
The HP DeskJet 1100 driver
Early versions of the HP LaserJet 4 driver
The HP 1200 driver
The HP 2100 driver
The HP 2430 driver
The HP 4100 driver
The HP 4050 driver
The Ricoh Afficio AP4510
The Brother HL-2040
The Brother HL series in general
